Enjoy lake living in this beautiful cottage located on the eastern shores of Keuka Lake.
Enter the home at road level, where a hallway takes you to the first of two bedroom suites. This sophisticatedly decorated room provides sleeping for four with a double bed and a double futon. There are many windows that ensure you are always able to enjoy the view from this level, and the understated greens and blues of the room’s décor blend smoothly to create a relaxing outdoor feel. Is a rainy day keeping you inside? Snuggle up on the futon or in the wicker chair with comfortable cushions and enjoy a good book or movie on the television set.
A spiral staircase placed in the corner will take you down to the kitchen and dining area. Dining seating for six and glass sliding doors to the lake view porch with Adirondack chairs make this a relaxed area for friends and family to enjoy each other’s company. You will also find a full bathroom with shower on this level, as well as a washer and dryer set conveniently hidden into a closet.
Stairs leading to the lower level bring you to the second bedroom suite, beautifully decorated right out of the pages of Cottage Living. You will enjoy the peacefulness in this room with wainscoting walls, slate floors, ceiling fan, a sophisticated mix of new and antique furniture and décor, and glass sliding doors leading to the lakeside porch. Grab a great book from the shelf and relax in the calming seating area with plush cushions and pillows or work enjoy a nice meal from the picnic table with the great lake views. You will also find a television in this room, allowing you to keep up on all your favorite shows.
Seven steps down is the natural gravel beach and a stone deck with Adirondack chairs to settle in and watch the sunsets. The 40-foot dock is a great spot to work on your tan or dip your toes in the water. Be sure to bring your marshmallows for making delicious s’mores over the fire pit. There is a boat hoist available to accommodate your motor boat up to 21′-0″ as well.
The interior of this home has been completely renovated and you will find subtle hints throughout reminding you of what you came on vacation for – relaxing and having fun!
